The accommodations and verandas, fitted with ceiling fans and a natural tile cooling system, offer a deep and safe breath of the naturally cleansed coastal breeze. In our dedication to preserving a calm atmosphere, we consciously choose not to furnish our rooms with air conditioning or televisions or even single use plastic bottled water.

Things to know before booking your stay with us
Our rates are dynamic and change based on demand, number of rooms available, season, peak dates and such like. So the rates that one guest gets might be very different to another who books a room of the same category.

- Rudraksh experience begins when you leave your vehicle behind and silence descends as you follow a beach footpath through a gated stile to our gate. We therefore do not have designated parking and cars and bikes, if any, should be parked at the roadside on the rural road. Don’t worry, we will be there to help you with your luggage so please keep us informed in advance of your arrival time.
- Our location is 150 meters away from the road, accessible solely by foot via a raised pathway amidst agricultural fields. Unfortunately, this means that Rudraksh Retreat is not wheelchair accessible and may not be suitable for individuals with mobility impairments.
- We do not have airconditioned rooms. Rooms and veranda are cooled with ceiling fans and natural tile cooling system so you can breathe deeply and safely the naturally filtered coastal air. We have also chosen not to have televisions to distract from the experience.
- Rooms are equipped with international electrical sockets and bathrooms with solar heated water. Unlimited filter water is available for your convenience. We aspire to use as many locally sourced, traditional, non-polluting products as possible to ensure your stay with us is both healthy and ecologically sustainable.
- The maximum occupancy for each room and the cottage is 2 guests + 1 additional guest at an extra cost. Under no circumstances can we exceed the stated room type occupancy plus one guest.
- We are happy to arrange early check-ins, but please note that this is contingent upon availability and must be pre-arranged with management.
- Smoking is not allowed in the rooms or verandah.
- Hotel quiet hours are from 11:00 pm - 7:00 am daily. Any activity during those hours should be such that it does not disturb the other guests in the property.
- We are unfortunately unable to allow pets on the property to protect guests with possible allergies.
- Late checkouts are chargeable @50% of the day tariff, and extendable upto 7:30pm. However, this is strictly upon availability only, and must be pre-arranged with the management.
