In 1984, a nine-year-old boy founded a humble dal chawal joint that would become Namaste Cafe, the sole establishment from Gokarna to be featured in the Lonely Planet at the time, pioneering an unexplored industry at the time. This place has now evolved to become, quite arguably, the most sought-after spot in the area, and that’s without even taking into account its unmatched beachside setting within a 50+ km radius.
